Presidents of Three Countries to Solve Fate of the Customs Union, Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Andrei Yeudachenka stated that the final decision on the further development of the Customs Union would be accepted at the summit of the presidents of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan which will take place of from July, 4th till July, 5th in Astana.

Commenting on the terms of the beginning of the union functioning of, Andrei Yeudachenka explained that «in this case any calendar date when we state the further progress in Customs Union foundation has no value». «In this case the substance of the conditions which we negotiate is important», PRIME-TASS informs on the words of the Deputy Minister.

According to the official, the summit in Astana was originally scheduled to the date of the beginning of the Customs Union full-fledged functioning, but in connection with Nursultan Nazarba’s anniversary, it was proposed to postpone the date of the forum.

The Deputy Minister also ascertained that the scheduled formation of the Single customs territory of the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan till July, 1st was failed.
