The action group of Uladzimir Niaklajeu, presidential nominee, leader of "Tell the truth!" campaign plans to hold a rally in support of transparent elections and transparent vote on October, 25. Organizers of the rally will place a transparent ballot box near GUM. Everyone will be able to give their symbolic vote for transparent elections.
«At 15:00 in the traditional location — near the twenty-four-hour tent near GUM we will establish a transparent box. Everyone will be able to give their symbolic vote for a transparent vote in Belarus. We invite you to join,» campaign leader Uladzimir Niaklajeu wrote in his blog.
The public appeal to the Council of Europe, OSCE, parliaments and governments of the EU countries, CIS and the USA to promote the use of transparent ballot boxes in the presidential election in Belarus will also be voiced at the action, the poet wrote.
«We are ready to press for legislative introduction in the Electoral Code of Belarus of the rules according to which the use of transparent ballot boxes will be required at each polling station in the country», Uladzimir Niaklajeu wrote in his online diary.
In this case, the presidential contender said that a copy of this appeal will be transmitted to the Central Election Commission of Belarus together with a complaint against the action group of the incumbent president Alexander Lukashenko.
