Autukhovich's Case Rescheduled for March 16

The Supreme Court of Belarus postponed the trial on case of  Vaukavysk entrepreneurs Nicholai Autukhovich and Vladimir Osipenko on March 16 this year. Еhe Supreme Court already begun to preside the case on March 9 and at beginning of the process granted several applications.

The Judge granted the request from person involved to the process, Alexander Larin,to  ban fhoto and video shooting. However, the court did not allow Nicholas Autukhovich take a photocopy of the case file, only rewrite it by hand, European Radio for Belarus reported.

As  telegraph previously reported, attorney PavelSapelka informed that March the Supreme Court of Belarus held the trial on his client Vaukavysk entrepreneurs Autuhovich Nikolai and Vladimir Osipenko March 9. According to the lawyer, the trial will be held by Judge Alexei Tetyukhin.

Vaukavysk’s entrepreneurs Nicholai Autukhovich, Yuri Leonov and Vladimir Osipenko were detained on February 8, 2009. They were charged under Art. 218 CC on February 18. On the June 23, the case under Art. 359 of the Criminal Code (terrorist attack) in the form of preparation (Article 13) was initiated against Nicholas Autukhovich and, as reported MIA, «other persons. 

Vladimir Osipenko and Nicholas Autukhovich were charged in terrorist attacks preparing on November 20.  August 8, Yuri Leonov was released from the Minsk detention center, and on September 24 all his charges were cleared.
