The Ministry of Energy reported on January 14 that Belarus and Russia had failed so far to reach a compromise in the negotiations on the oil price in 2011. "The negotiation process is not completed, it will continue next week," the spokeswoman of the Energy Minister of Russia Irina Yesipova said.

As Telegraf previously reported, the Russian side expressed hope on January 13 that the Russian oil deliveries to Belarus, suspended on January 1, would be resumed as early as Monday or Tuesday, January 17-18.

It was stated, in particular, by the head of «Transneft» Nikolai Tokarev and Russian Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko.
