Four firemen have died when extinguishing a fire at a warehouse of Minsk plant of computing machines. As the press service of Ministry of Emergency Situations reports, two MES workers have died in the hospital, two more — on the place of incident, during resuscitation.
Currently, four employees are in hospital. 25 units of rescue equipment and 105 rescuers are at the place.
The report about the fire at Minsk plant of computing machines on 62 Pritytsky street came at 9:05. At 9:50 during the fire elimination, the roof collapsed in the warehouse, resulting seven MES workers to be under the obstruction. At 11:35 the victims were retrieved from the obstruction and with injuries of varying severity taken to the hospital, BelTA informs.
The list of stock products is being clarified. But preliminarily it’s known that it can be products owned by tenants. «This is a synthetic product — whether mattresses, or PVC», the spokesman of Minsk city emergency department, Alexander Lapanik, reported. According to him, its burning products are not toxic for the city.
