25 suspects of the riots at Independence Square in Minsk on December 19 are on the list. As reported by human rights activists, 22 detainees are currently in the KGB remand prison, one is kept in administrative detention in Zhodina, two — under travel restrictions. Most of them should be indicted on December 29.
Criminal cases were brought earlier for 23 suspects. Two more protesters on December 19 were added — Dmitri Novikov and Nikita Likhovid. The latter is serving a 15-day arrest in Zhodina, the human rights center «Viasna» informs.
