According to the Ministry of Justice, as of July 1, 2010 in Belarus there registered 15 political parties. In the Republic there also work 35 trade unions, 2.27 thousand of public associations, 23 unions of public associations, 94 funds (10 international among them). Over the first half of the year, 68 new associations have been registered in Belarus.
In July-August 2010, Ministry of Justice registered three new public associations: two republican and one international.
Thus, Republican Public Association «Belarusian Federation of Hunting Dogs Breeding», created to develop pedigree hunting dogs breeding in Belarus was registered on July 19.
International Public Association «Gender Perspectives» (registered on August 10) aims to achieve de facto equality of men and women and eliminate discrimination on sex basis, as well as assist to realize social and personal needs of women and men in society.
On August 12, 2010, Justice Ministry registered Republican Public Association of patients (parents) with primary immunodeficiency «Save immunity». The association is established in order to attract the attention of state, commercial, public and other organizations, medical and social employees, scientists and all interested to solve problems of medical, social and rehabilitation assistance to people with primary immunodeficiency.
