Chairman of the Central Election Commission Lidia Yermoshina voted on December 15, the second day of early voting of the presidential elections in Belarus. As she says, she decided to vote early because of the large volume of work to expect her on the main polling day on December 19. She performed her civic duty at polling station 48 of Minsk Tsentralny district.
Shortly before the activists of the opposition organization «Young Belarus» Pavel Prokopovich, Victoria Ezubchits and Nikolai Steshits found out violation of the electoral vote at the same polling station. However, Lidia Yermoshina had not noticed any violations at the site, «Nasha Niva» reports.
According to the leader of «Young Belarus» Artur Finkevich, the ballot box was taken to another room during a lunch break. As they say, those people were not members of the Electoral Commission.
