Belact made an attempted of raider seizure of Dyatlovo Cheese Factory, operating in Grodno region and supplying its products apart from Belarus to Russia and Kazakhstan. It was declared by the chairman of the supervisory board of JSC Dyatlovo Cheese Factory, Anna Grintsevich, and the factory director, Alexander Dubovik.
As the heads of the factory told, this action is carried out by biased informing of the shareholders. «They are offered various ways to sell, transfer in trust use their shares, at a price of at least 10 times less than their actual value. This scheme is well known in the Russian Federation, but in Belarus it is used for the first time. The goal is evident — to get control of the business, which costs billions, for pennies», reads the statement of Anna Grintsevich and Alexander Dubovik.
The company’s management recalled that only over the last two years there were invested 15 billion rubles in upgrading the plant, while the brand «Syrnaya strana» («Cheese Country») is widely known in the CIS.
At the plant, the attempts to raider seizure are associated with certain difficulties it had in 2008-2009, but it managed to survive the crisis and in 2009 the manufacture began to grow and there recorded high export growth.
«Why precisely now do «the supporters» of Belact express concern about the fate of Dyatlovo cheese factory, the well-being of its workforce and shareholders?» Maybe because they have not seen the expected collapse of the company to get an easy loot? The owners of Belact are interested in unstable work of Dyatlovo enterprise and, at first, in the capture of its raw zone», underlined in the statement of Anna Grintsevich and Alexander Dubovik.
«It’s not a secret, that Belact is the only company in Grodno region, which supplies to the Russian Federation not only finished commodities but also thousands of tons of raw full cream milk. Milk, which Russian processors need sorely, and who have a direct influence on Belact management», the top-management of Dyatlovo plant stressed.
«The final goal pursued by Belact chiefs is a market capitalization of own enterprise at the expense of Dyatlovo cheese factory and Slonim dairy products, with a subsequent shift of Belact under the control of foreign capital», Anna Grintsevich and Alexander Dubovik are sure.

According to the leaders of Dyatlovo cheese factory, «beautiful but insecure promises of Belact managrment to increase efficiency of Dyatlovo plant after the implementation of control can also show an elementary desire to get quick benefits for new owners».
«From the experience of «recovery» of near abroad enterprises after their raider seizures it’s known that, as a rule, this «recovery» starts with cut off production areas and work places cuts … The goal of maximizing the benefit of a strange proprietor is in direct contradiction to the social costs», reads the statement.
Anna Grintsevich and Alexander Dubovik urged shareholders of Dyatlovo cheese factory, «not to yield the persuasion to sell or transfer in trust use their shares and remain owners of their factory».
Any unauthorized sale of property in Grodno region is suspended immediately, Shapiro
In his turn, the new governor of Grodno region, Semyon Shapiro, stated that all attempts to raid the capture of regional enterprises are ruled out. «In Grodno region there immediately stopped every unauthorized sale of property. As President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said, these were not we who had created the country’s property and these were not we who would divide it», Grodnenskaya pravda quotes the head of Grodno Regional Executive Committee.
«Everything belongs to the people, concrete employees of the enterprises who are entitled to know to whom, at what price, with which purpose there will be sold a particular property, enterprise or shares. People have a right to know the real price of the issue and under no circumstances should feel cheated», Semyon Shapiro said.
