Elena Rzhevskaya, the chief physician of Clinic No. 1 under the Russian Presidential Administration, suggested to Russians in an interview with the state news agency TASS that some residents of the country could live up to 120 years.

Moreover, the head doctor of the Kremlin’s main clinic admitted that some of her patients have already surpassed the 100-year mark. According to her, this development has been facilitated by the early detection of cancer.

«It all depends on how accurately the diagnosis is made, how early it is detected, and then on professional medical assistance and the opportunity for rehabilitation,» the Kremlin’s chief physician added.

Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin has been increasingly returning to the topic of longevity and even immortality.

For example, footage aired live during the military parade in Beijing captured an informal conversation between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, walking alongside them, had the conversation translated, although he did not participate.

Putin, gesturing, said something that the interpreter conveyed in Chinese as: «With the development of biotechnology, human organs will be continuously transplanted, and people will be able to live longer and even achieve immortality.»

Earlier, leading Belarusian doctors responded to the question of whether people can expect a significant increase in life expectancy and even immortality in the near future. Experts in various medical fields assessed the potential of today’s scientific advancements in this area.
