Belarus Forestry Ministry Denies Rumours of Changes to Hunting Rules
The Belarusian Ministry of Forestry has denied online rumours about impending changes to the country’s hunting regulations, stating that the current rules remain in effect.
The ministry’s statement comes in response to reports circulating on several internet resources that claimed the hunting rules would be revised starting January 1.
«The information about changes in the duties of gamekeepers relates EXCLUSIVELY to the structure of the Republican State Public Association ‘Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen’ (BООР) and not to all hunting estates in the country,» the ministry said.
It emphasised that the previously approved hunting rules remain unchanged and urged the public and media to rely on official sources for accurate information.
