The winner of the "Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010" was chosen in Minsk on November 20. In the result of the joint jury voting from 14 European countries, the representative of Armenia, Vladimir Arzumanyan, being one point ahead of Russian Lisa Drozd and Sasha Lazin, took 1st position. This is reported by Telegraf correspondent.
The intrigue of the contest was kept until the last moment, and only Macedonia, who’d given ten points to Armenia, made it the winner.
Belarusian Daniel Kozlov, who collected 85 points with the song «Light of Music», ocupied 5th place. Latvia and Georgia passed him the treasured 12 points. In general, the final table is as follows:

The show was opened by Ksenia Sitnik (2005 winner), Aleksei Zhihalkovich (winner 2007) and Alexander Rybak (winner of the adult «Eurovision» Song Contest 2009). Other winners of the Junior «Eurovision» Song Contest, such as Dmitri Koldun, who had represented Belarus at «Eurovision 2007», also attended the song festival. Presenters of the competition were Leila Ismailova and Denis Kurian.
It’s the first time when Belarus has carried out the show of Junior «Eurovision-2010.» The venue for the contest was the sports complex «Minsk-Arena.»
