The president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko sent the letter with statement of his position on gas not only to the State Secretary of the Union State Pavel Borodin and the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Pravda" of Communist Party of the Russian Federation. It was received also by the members of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the biggest Russian businessmen.
80 Russian businessmen received the similar letters on July, 1st, informs Lenta.ru.
As Telegraf informed, the Belarusian leader stated in the letter that the recent gas conflict wasn’t exclusively the dispute of managing subjects and had political underlying reason.
According to the head of the Belarusian state, the gas conflict appeared not recently, and it was «only a part of unfriendly policy which has been systematically adopted to Belarus during the last years «.
«We can easily remember recent «dairy», «meat», «sugar», «oil «and other wars. Needless to say about that purposefully adopted line by the majority of the Russian mass-media which got character of the real information aggression», the president of Belarus ascertained.
«The purpose is obvious. It is to form «the authorities of Belarus, to force them to make concessions to the prejudice of national interests of the sovereign state, to catch tidbits of the Belarusian property», the Belarusian leader stated.
As Alexander Lukashenko said, unfriendly Russian policy caused the sharp decrease in number of the Belarusian supporters of the further integration with the Russian Federation.
At the same time, the head of the Belarusian state has expressed confidence that politicians were able to do their best to prevent break of brotherly bonds and rupture of allied relations.
