Journalists from the European Union will visit Belarus on July 21-24 on a four-day press tour, which aim is to familiarize the citizens of EU countries with specific projects that the EU has carried out in Belarus within the European Neighbourhood Policy. This was reported in the EU representation in Minsk.
The representatives of European media spent the first day of the press-tour in Brussels. Now the journalists are waiting for an intensive three-day program in Belarus.
13 journalists from Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, and Romania will come in Minsk, BelaPAN.
The journalists will meet the representatives of the Belarusian authorities, public organizations, as well as diplomats, independent experts and representatives of the Belarusian media. Members of the press tour will be informed on the relations between the EU and Belarus, political and economic situation in the country.
This press tour is organized by the European Journalism Centre, the EU Delegation to Belarus and the Belarusian Association of Journalists, with the financial support of European Commission’s Directorate-General for External Relations.
