Belarusbank Wants to Place Eurobonds of $500 Million

Belarusbank intends to place debut three-year Eurobonds of $500 worth in the second quarter of 2011. This was stated by Chairman of the Board Nadezhda Ermakova on February 3. “The amount is $ 500 million for three years … with about 8% of return,” said the head of Belarusbank.
According to Telegraf, in January the Belarusian authorities placed seven-year Eurobonds of $800 million worth by 8.95% per annum. The banks Sberbank (Russia), BNP Paribas (France), RBS (Scotland) and Deutsche Bank (Germany) are organizers of the transaction.
