In the first half of 2010 OJSC "Belarusbank attracted 180 million dollars of foreign loans. The Bank's experts signed 40 new agreements with foreign creditors, said chairman of the company Nadezhda Ermakova.
The new loans, according to the head of the bank, were allocated to finance investment projects, which include the acquisition of advanced foreign technologies and equipment, «Minsk-News» informs.
«Our circle of partners widened over the last few years. We cooperate with the banks of Eastern and Asian countries, such as China, Taiwan. Soon we will start to work with Japan», Nadezhda Ermakova said.
In addition Belarusbank is active in attracting financial resources from banks in such countries as Great Britain, Poland, Russia, Italy, Germany. The amount of credit lines opened by foreign banks to Belarusbank, exceeds now one billion dollars.
