Belneftekhim is negotiating with Russian companies to lower premiums in the price of oil, supplied by them. This was stated by the press-secretary of the concern Marina Kostuchenko. According to her, the conclusion of the current contracts with the companies — suppliers of oil are in working order, while oil deliveries are carried out according to the long-term agreement, signed in 2011.
«The long-term agreement provides for the adjustment of the price parameters of oil supplies on the basis of the previous month results to the end of the next month’s first decade, as well as mutual indemnity of the difference between final and provisional prices, which was actually made on the results of the February work,» said Marina Kostuchenko, BelTA informs.
According to the press secretary, an agreement with the companies provides for the possibility of lowering the formula for calculating premiums in the oil price, if the average world quotations for Urals oil are above $100 per barrel. «Belneftekhim has sent its proposals to the Russian side with the specified conditions. At present the parties are negotiating on this issue,» said Marina Kostuchenko, noting that the amount of premiums for shipments to Belarus had been reduced by the Russian oil companies in February compared with January.
